A subsidiary of Arçelik A.S., Beko traces its roots to Istanbul, where parent company Koc Holdings was founded more than 64 years ago. Now one of Turkey’s largest industrial and commercial conglomerates with 23 factories around the world, the company has made Beko a truly global brand, introducing it to the North American market in 2016.

From its US headquarters outside Chicago, Beko develops innovative, stylish, highly energy-efficient appliances designed to enrich the lives of consumers who are conscious about wellness and their impact on the planet.

In recognition of its commitment to sustainability, Beko is the only appliance manufacturer to earn three consecutive EPA ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year Awards immediately after entering the US market—in 2017, 2018, and 2019. The award recognizes manufacturers that have demonstrated energy efficiency best practices and proven energy savings.

In 2019, Beko also received the prestigious ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year–Sustained Excellence Award, the highest honor bestowed on partners that have won consecutive ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year awards.

A Family Brand

Beko’s emphasis on enabling families to live healthier, balanced lives is carried out across the global brand’s marketing, as well. Beko has been the main partner of FC Barcelona since 2014, bringing together an internationally recognized home appliance brand with one of the world’s most loved soccer clubs.

In 2018, Beko partnered with FC Barcelona and UNICEF in a global “Eat Like a Pro” campaign to inspire and educate families on the importance of eating right.
