Beko Keeps Doing Its Part

By Beko US

It’s always reassuring to know organizations and individuals around the world are working diligently to safeguard our planet and its natural resources—no matter what.

At Beko, we like to think we fall into that category. An enduring emphasis on environmental responsibility underscores our efforts to create innovative appliances that help families live and be well. This focus has not gone unnoticed.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) just presented Beko US, Inc. with the ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year Sustained Excellence Award for the second year in a row. The highest honor from ENERGY STAR, it is only presented to companies that previously achieved ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year status in consecutive years. Due to its industry leadership as well as its product innovation, Beko has attained Partner of the Year every year since 2017.

In addition, 22 Beko refrigerators, dishwashers, and laundry appliances made the 2020 ENERGY STAR Most Efficient list, a coveted designation reserved for products that not only meet the most rigorous energy-efficiency criteria but deliver important new technologies.

Among Beko’s Most Efficient products are more than a dozen top-performing dishwashers boasting a sanitizing cycle—an in-demand feature for everyone concerned about wellness. Right now, health and safety in the home are at the top of everyone’s list of priorities. Beko’s state-of-the-art dishwasher sanitizing function is designed to more effectively kill many harmful microorganisms. It delivers one of the highest rinse temperatures in the industry—167° F—which exceeds the NSF-certified standard for eliminating a minimum of 99.9 percent of bacteria on dishes and flatware.

It’s innovation like this that truly meets the needs of those who are conscious about wellness, committed to living responsibly, and concerned about safeguarding the planet’s future. Rest assured, Beko will keep doing its part.
